Cranberry and D-mannose are the two best-known agents for urinary tract health, and they work by the same mechanism from different angles. Both interfere with bacteria adhering to the urinary tract wall — bacteria that cannot attach get flushed out rather than establishing an infection. Combining them is more thorough than either alone.
