Pure Lab Vitamins Slow Release BioActive B-Complex is a daily B-complex that uses the activated forms of the B vitamins — methylcobalamin (B12), calcium L-5-MTHF (folate), pyridoxal-5-phosphate (B6), riboflavin-5-phosphate (B2) and benfotiamine (B1) — plus choline, in a slow-release Vegi-Cap. Each capsule provides 500 mcg of B12 as methylcobalamin, 400 mcg of folate as L-5-MTHF and 40 mg of B6 as P-5-P. Its slow-release agent helps maintain blood B vitamin levels for about 4 to 5 hours per capsule. Vegan. Available in 60 and 120 Vegi-Caps. What Is a Bioactive B-Complex?
- B vitamins are water-soluble nutrients that work together in energy metabolism
- "Bioactive" means the vitamin is supplied in the form the body uses — for example methylcobalamin for B12 and L-5-MTHF for folate
- In this formula, B9 and B12 are methylated, and B2 and B6 are phosphorylated
