      Agaricus blazei (Murill) is a medicinal mushroom, indigenous to the Provita Agaricus 1,000 Brazilian rainforest, and has been used in traditional medicine for hundreds of years. Agaricus blazei is rich in immune-modulating polysaccharides and beta-glucans.
       
      Agaricus blazei has been proven to boost the immune system by strongly activating the macrophages. Scientific studies reveal that beta-glucans can also activate other components of the immune system (B Lymphocytes, natural killer cells, suppressor T-cells). In addition, this prized medicinal mushroom has a strong antioxidant effect on the body, also helping the immune system in recovering from Candida overgrowth.
