Cordyceps SAP is a hot water–extracted mushroom used in herbal medicine to support the immune system and as a source of antioxidants. Cordyceps sinensis has traditionally been used for a variety of concerns including treating patients with fatigue; in athletics; for liver, kidney, and respiratory protection; as well as for immune support. The majority of the research focuses on the active ingredients in Cordyceps, including polysaccharides, lipids, cordycepin, and 3‑deoxyadenosine.
