The numerous health benefits of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) have been extensively researched and established through clinical studies. Ahiflower SAP provides a natural, non-GMO, vegan friendly, and sustainable source of PUFAs. Preclinical and clinical studies conducted with Ahiflower demonstrated the ability of Ahiflower to increase EPA and DHA accumulation in the tissues.
Ahiflower SAP is unique as it provides high amounts of stearidonic acid (SDA), which is a precursor of EPA and DHA, without the need for ALA and enzymes required to convert ALA to EPA.
Also, Ahiflower SAP is a rich source of γ-linolenic acid (GLA), known for the attenuation of inflammation.
