Each capsule contains a 4× concentrate of pancreatic enzymes, delivering 1,300 mg activity of lipase, protease, and amylase to support the pancreatic production of digestive enzymes.
Pancreatin is a combination of digestive enzymes normally produced by the pancreas and is important in the digestion of fats, proteins, and sugars.
Pancreatin is used to replace digestive enzymes when the pancreas does not produce enough on its own. Certain medical conditions can cause this lack of enzymes.
