Naka Herbs Nutri Prevent v2 Details

Naka Herbs Nutri Prevent v2 puts seven antioxidant and B vitamin ingredients into one vegetable capsule: 200mg of alpha lipoic acid, 150mg of quercetin, 100mg of CoQ10 as ubiquinone, 100mg of 50% resveratrol extract from Japanese knotweed, 50mg of niacinamide, 10mg of vitamin B2 and 500mcg of vitamin B12. The label dose is one capsule morning and evening, so the 60-capsule bottle is a month. Made in Canada.

Naka describes Nutri Prevent as an effective vitamin formulation featuring the benefits of Resveratrol, Co-Q10, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Quercetin and B vitamins, and as an extra strength antioxidant and cardiovascular health support aid. Naka states that clinical studies suggest increasing the antioxidant status of our blood serum may result in reduced risk of many chronic degenerative diseases, and lists the benefits as antioxidant support, reduce chronic degenerative diseases, prevents and fight disease, and clinically proven.

Who Nutri Prevent v2 Is For

  • Anyone about to buy CoQ10, alpha lipoic acid, quercetin and resveratrol as four separate bottles
  • People wanting an antioxidant formula aimed at cardiovascular support, not a general multivitamin
  • Buyers using it for the indication Naka prints on the label — relief of symptoms related to non-complicated CVI
  • Those who want real amounts rather than a dusting — 200mg of alpha lipoic acid and 150mg of quercetin are meaningful on their own
  • Anyone who finds a twice-daily capsule easier to keep up than a shelf of bottles

Who this product is NOT for: If you want to control each dose independently, buy singles — Alpha Lipoic Acid 600mg, Quercetin 500mg and Trans-Resveratrol 300mg all go far higher. If CoQ10 alone is the goal, CoQ10 100mg with BioPerine gives the same amount in an oil softgel. If you want methylated B vitamins, the B12 here is cyanocobalamin — and the capsule carries soybean oil and beeswax.

Vitamart's Take

We stock this because the combination is sensible and the amounts are not token. Four ingredients people routinely buy separately — CoQ10, alpha lipoic acid, quercetin and resveratrol — arrive in one capsule at amounts that would each justify their own bottle, and the three B vitamins are cofactors rather than label decoration. For a cardiovascular-leaning antioxidant routine, it replaces a lot of bottles.

The trade-offs are the usual ones for a blend. You cannot move one dose without moving them all, the resveratrol is well below what dedicated resveratrol products carry, and the B12 is cyanocobalamin rather than a methylated form. A 60-capsule bottle at two a day is only a month, so compare against singles on cost per month, not per bottle. Buy it to consolidate; buy singles if you have a target dose in mind.

How Nutri Prevent v2 Compares

The honest comparison is not against other blends but against the four bottles it replaces.

  • Versus single ingredients: CoQ10, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Quercetin and Resveratrol each go higher alone. This wins on convenience and total cost, not on any one dose.
  • Versus a glutathione formula: Naka Platinum Glutathione+ 125mg also combines antioxidants, but around glutathione and NAC rather than CoQ10 and resveratrol.
  • Versus a multivitamin: a multi covers vitamins and minerals broadly at low amounts. This spends the whole capsule on four specific antioxidants instead.
  • Versus curcumin: a turmeric product targets the inflammatory side instead — see Curcumin & Turmeric Supplements.

What Is Resveratrol, and Why Japanese Knotweed?

Resveratrol is a stilbene — a small two-ring molecule that grapevines and a few other plants make when attacked by fungus or stressed by injury. It is the compound behind the long-running interest in red wine, since it concentrates in grape skins. The trouble is quantity: a glass of wine carries a milligram or two, so matching a supplement dose from grapes is not realistic. Japanese knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum) is the practical answer — its roots accumulate resveratrol at percentages grapes never reach, which is why nearly every resveratrol supplement, this one included, is made from knotweed root. Naka's extract is standardized to 50%, so 100mg of extract supplies 50mg of resveratrol.

It sits beside the other three because antioxidants are not interchangeable — they work in different parts of the cell. Quercetin and resveratrol are polyphenols acting largely in watery compartments. CoQ10 is strongly fat-loving and works inside membranes, particularly in the mitochondria, where it also carries electrons along the energy-producing chain. Alpha lipoic acid is the bridge: it dissolves in both water and fat, so it reaches places neither of the others can. Riboflavin and niacinamide become the flavin and nicotinamide cofactors the enzymes regenerating spent antioxidants depend on. The formula is an attempt to cover several compartments at once rather than flooding one.

How To Use

Directions: (For adult use only) Take one veggie capsule in the morning and one in the evening or as directed by a health care professional. Relief of symptoms related to non-complicated CVI: Use for a minimum of 1 month to see beneficial effects.

Frequently Asked Questions

➕ How many capsules a day, and how long does a bottle last?
One capsule in the morning and one in the evening. At that rate the 60-capsule bottle is a one-month supply.
➕ How much resveratrol am I actually getting?
Each capsule has 100mg of a 50% resveratrol extract from Japanese knotweed, so 50mg of resveratrol per capsule — 100mg a day at the label dose.
➕ Is the CoQ10 ubiquinone or ubiquinol?
The panel specifies ubiquinone at 100mg per capsule, which is the standard oxidized form of CoQ10.
➕ Can I take it alongside my multivitamin?
They overlap very little — this capsule is four antioxidants plus three B vitamins, so the only duplication is on B2, B3 and B12.
➕ Why are B vitamins in an antioxidant formula?
Riboflavin and niacinamide become the flavin and nicotinamide cofactors that antioxidant-regenerating enzymes run on. Naka builds the formula around antioxidants and B vitamins together.
➕ Is there anything animal-derived in it?
The non-medicinal ingredients are soybean oil, lecithin and beeswax, in a vegetable capsule. Beeswax is bee-derived, which matters if you avoid animal products.
