Melaleuca Cajuputi
Cajuput essential oil is used in aromatherapy for its expectorant properties to help relieve respiratory symptoms associated with cough, cold and flu.
HISTORY
Native to tropical regions, the fragrant Cajuput tree is closely related to Tea Tree and Niaouli. The tree can reach heights of up to 20 meters. Its essential oil is derived by means of steam distillation of the leaves.
Topical (Adults) Mix 2 to 3 drops in 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) of vegetable oil; apply locally 3 times a day.
