Cold and Flu is a combination of herbs especially concieved to relieve cold and flu symptoms. It reduces runny nose, cogestion, cough and fever as well as reducing the virulence of the infection.
This tea is both pleasing and efficient as it fights many aspects of the infection.
Elder Flower: The antiviral properties of elder reduce symptoms of cold and flu such as runny nose, nasal congestion, cough and sore throat.
Peppermint: Diaphoretic and febrifuge, peppermint reduces fever caused by cold and flu.
Red raspberry: The tannins in red red raspberry make it a mild astringent effective against sore throats.
Echinacea: it is known for its capacity to tone the immune response.
Bayberry: It stimulates blood circulation and has mild antipyretic properties.
Dosage
Drink 2 - 3 cups per day
Instructions
Pour 1 litre of boiling water over 3 tbsp of herbs, cover and let steep for 10-15 minutes. Filter.
