➕ What do the four acids do?
Glycolic is the smallest and most active, with lactic, malic and tartaric working more gently alongside it. The blend loosens the bonds between dull surface cells.
➕ What is bakuchiol?
A plant-derived compound used as a gentler alternative to retinol. It is not retinol and does not carry retinol's strength, but it is better tolerated.
➕ Why niacinamide in an exfoliating toner?
Acids do their work at the expense of some barrier function. Niacinamide is there to support the barrier at the same time.
