Relora® is a proprietary blend of extracts from the bark of Magnolia officinalis and Phellodendron amurense, standardized for their two main constituents: honokiol and berberine, respectively. Both have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for “Qi Stagnation” which most closely translates to stress, mood dysfunction, fatigue, and patients susceptible to illness, tension, and pain. In a 2013 double-blind, placebo-controlled study, 500 mg of Relora® for four weeks led to significantly decreased salivary cortisol levels (18%).
 
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is commonly used for stress support, as well as debility, anxiety, and poor thyroid function. Ashwagandha has been shown to significantly reduce anxiety scores, serum cortisol levels, serum C-reactive protein (CRP), blood pressure, and heart rate.
 
Bacopa (Bacopa monnieri) is widely known for its cognitive and memory-enhancing effects but also anxiolytic, and adaptogenic activities. In an RCT investigating acute dosing prior to multitasking stress, researchers reported positive effects on mood and reduction in cortisol levels from baseline.
 
Cordyceps is an immune-stimulating and adaptogenic mushroom. Polysaccharides within Cordyceps have been shown to promote more efficient macrophage activity. Phosphatidylserine (PS) is a phospholipid most concentrated in the brain and cerebral cortex. Supplemental PS has been shown to enhance cognitive function and mental stamina, and significantly reduce cortisol levels.
 
Curcuminoids-galactomannan complex (CGC) is a bioavailable curcumin with antioxidant properties. Its use has been linked to decreases in occupational stress-related anxiety and fatigue.
