    About Green Goo

    Green Goo's salves come in small tins with a thick, balm-like texture, made by infusing whole herbs into plant oils rather than blending in extracts. The range is organized by use: Dry Skin for moisture, Skin Repair for scrapes and rough patches, Pain Relief built around arnica, Solar Goo for sun, and a gel deodorant made without baking soda for people who find it irritating.

    The herbs behind the salves

    The formulas lean on familiar botanicals — calendula, comfrey, plantain and arnica, the herb most associated with sore, overworked muscles. Because the oils are infused with whole herbs, the salves have a green cast and a herbal scent rather than a perfumed one.

    How the tins are used

    A salve is thicker than a lotion, so a little goes a long way — warm a small amount between your fingers and work it in. The tin format travels well and doesn't spill, which is why these often end up in a bag or a first-aid kit rather than on a bathroom shelf.
