Our 100% organic cotton face mask has three layers of fabric with a pouch for inserting an optional filter. Filters are not included with the mask and we are currently not recommending any specific filter brands. The fabric and face masks are entirely made in Canada. Our fabric is GOTS approved (Global Organic Textiles Standards) and sourced in Canada. Our dyes are also GOTS approved and toxin-free.

Although this mask does not have the same level of protection as an N95 mask, it limits pathogens from transmitting to others if the user coughs, sneezes, or talks closely. It also protects the user from touching their mouth and nose. This mask is designed to be more comfortable than an N95 mask, making it more ideal for long term use at work or when outside in public. Our fabric is soft, breathable, and hypoallergenic making the mask comfortable to wear.

The mask is washable, however we recommend hand washing and avoiding the dryer to preserve the integrity of the mask for a longer period of time.Â

The ear straps may be adjusted by tying a knot in between the loop. This shortens the size of the loop creating a tighter pull and more secure fit.Â

- Wash before use.
- Between uses, hand-wash mask with antibacterial soap for 2-3 minutes and rinse with warm tap water.
- Soak mask for at least 7-10 minutes in hot water with temperatures between 45 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. Tap water at the highest heat setting will do.
- As an alternative, you can use a clothes steamer to steam the mask after each use for 7-10 minutes.
- Squeeze excess water out and hang to dry.
- Always wash mask after one day of use or prolonged contact with other people.
- Wash masks on their own. Never wash with clothes (may be washed in a delicates/lingerie bag in a machine at high temperatures).
- Added measure: wash hands often with warm water and anti-bacterial soap, and refrain from touching any area of your space.
