      NOW Better Stevia (Alcohol Free) is alcohol-free and a zero-calorie, low glycemic, natural plant based sweetener that makes a perfectly healthy substitute for table sugar and artificial sweeteners. Unlike chemical sweeteners, NOW Better Stevia (Alcohol Free) contains natural plant Stevia extracts.

      Stevia rebaudiana is a small shrub native to Paraguay and Brazil. A South American scientist named Antonio Bertoni who learned of the herb from the Guarani Paraguayan Natives first documented Stevia's use in 1887. Stevia was known as Kaa'-he-e which means "honeyleaf". NOW Foods takes special measures to preserve Stevia's natural quantities in this unique, non-bitter and aftertaste-free organic stevia formulation.

      Use to naturally sweeten your favorite beverages and food. Use three to five drops of NOW Better Stevia (Alcohol Free) as desired daily. Sweeten to taste. Remember a little stevia goes a long way. Sedimentation may occur. Shake well before using.

        NOW Better Stevia is BEST

        I very highly recommend this sweetener. It is the only liquid stevia I can use, it must be this alcohol-free product. I've used it for years and is the best for cold drinks. It may seem a little pricey but a little goes a long way.

        Sweetens

        I use in in coffee and the glycerin component results in oil droplets floating on top (like in a fatty soup). A bit unappealing. Tastes fine, but I prefer a different brand as my main.

        Use it in most of my baking

        As far as stevia goes, this one is definitely one of the better tasting ones I've added to my baking. The bottle is easy to extract the exact amount that I need & I like that it's a gel vs a liquid.

        There is a slight after taste, but nothing like the other stevia products on the market.

        Best. Liquid. Stevia. Ever.

        If you've tried powdered stevia previously, and found it bitter-tasting, you will VERY pleased with this liquid Better Stevia. No aftertaste either as a coffee sweetener or when used in baking. Fantastic stuff for zero-carb dieters like me.
