It is one of the most recognised traditional Chinese remedies sold anywhere — the bottle is a fixture in Chinese households worldwide, and the formulation has barely changed in over a century.
The herbal throat lozenge carries the same core botanicals as the syrup — loquat leaf, platycodon root and liquorice root — in a lozenge you can keep in a pocket.
