Most B 100 complexes use the least costly usable form of each vitamin, because the label reads identically either way — 100 mg of B6 looks the same whether it is pyridoxine hydrochloride or pyridoxal 5-phosphate. This one does not take that shortcut. Benfotiamine, riboflavin 5'-phosphate, P5P, methylcobalamin and calcium L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate are the forms your body uses directly rather than having to convert, and that is the real argument for paying more for a B complex. The inositol hexanicotinate B3 is deliberate too, chosen to avoid the flush high-dose niacin is known for.

The trade-offs are worth knowing. Three capsules a day with food is a real routine — 150 capsules is 50 days, and one capsule gives you a third of what the label describes. The adaptogen doses are supporting amounts, not standalone ones: 75 mg of Sensoril ashwagandha and 75 mg of standardized rhodiola are sensible inclusions in a B complex, but if adaptogens are your main objective you will get more from a dedicated ashwagandha.
