Naka Platinum Liposomal Glutathione+ 450mg Liquid Details
Naka Platinum Liposomal Glutathione+ 450mg delivers 450mg of Setria L-Glutathione reduced in a single teaspoon (5ml) — the largest glutathione dose per serving Naka makes, and the reduced, bioactive form rather than an oxidized one or a precursor. It is carried in phospholipids from sunflower, in a natural orange flavoured liquid. One teaspoon daily, 120ml per bottle, 24 servings. Made in Canada.
Naka's label credits it with promoting detoxification, providing antioxidant protection and fortifying the immune system. The reason to choose the liquid over Naka's softgel is dose and format: 450mg in one spoonful, with no gelatin capsule involved and no added animal products in the formula.

Who Liposomal Glutathione+ Liquid Is For
- Anyone who wants the highest glutathione dose per serving on our Naka shelf — 450mg in one teaspoon
- People who avoid animal-derived ingredients and so cannot use a gelatin softgel
- Buyers who want a named raw material, since Setria is specified rather than left anonymous
- Those who want to split or adjust the dose by the spoonful rather than being locked to a capsule size
- People wanting the detoxification, antioxidant and immune positioning Naka gives this formula
Who this product is NOT for: If cost per day decides it, this is the most expensive way to take glutathione on our shelf — 24 servings is under a month, and Naka Platinum Nutri NAC 600mg supports your body's own glutathione production for a fraction of it. For a portable, tasteless option the 250mg softgel travels better. And if you want glutathione inside a broader antioxidant formula, Glutathione+ 125mg adds NAC, vitamin C, alpha lipoic acid, selenium and quercetin.
Vitamart's Take
We stock this because it solves two problems the softgel cannot. It is the only liposomal glutathione Naka makes without an animal-derived shell, which matters to a large share of the people who ask us for glutathione, and at 450mg per teaspoon it is the only one reaching a high dose in a single serving instead of two. A liquid also lets you take half a teaspoon if 450mg is more than you want.
The trade-off is plain: 24 servings per bottle is under a month, and glutathione is an expensive raw material before you add liposomal delivery, so this is the costliest glutathione per day we sell. There is no way to dress that up. It is also a bottle to keep track of and a flavour to tolerate, where a softgel is neither. Buy the liquid for the dose, the format or the ingredient list — not to economise.
How Liposomal Glutathione+ Liquid Compares
Our glutathione shelf splits three ways: how much glutathione per serving, how it is delivered, and whether anything comes with it.
- Versus the 250mg softgel: Liposomal Glutathione 250mg is also Setria with sunflower phospholipids, dosed twice daily in a bovine gelatin softgel — easier to carry, animal-derived shell.
- Versus the 125mg capsule: Glutathione+ 125mg is a quarter of the glutathione but adds five supporting antioxidants — better value if you were buying NAC and alpha lipoic acid anyway.
- Versus NAC: Naka Platinum Ultra NAC 1000mg supplies the cysteine your body builds glutathione from — far lower cost per day, but an indirect route.
- Versus other liposomal liquids: see Liposomal Glutathione Supplements and compare milligrams per serving against servings per bottle — that is where they really differ.
Why Build a Liposome as a Liquid?
In a softgel, the phospholipids and the active sit together as a concentrate and the delivery system has to come together in your digestive tract. In a liquid like this one, the vesicles are already formed and suspended in water before the bottle is capped — the work is done in the factory, and what you swallow is a finished dispersion that needs nothing to dissolve or disintegrate first. That is the advantage of the format.
It also creates the engineering problem, which is shelf stability, and you can read Naka's answer straight off the ingredient list. Phospholipid tails are unsaturated fats and will oxidise given time and air, so vitamin E and beta-carotene are in there as fat-soluble antioxidants protecting the carrier itself rather than as nutrients for you. Citric acid holds the pH where the vesicles stay intact, and potassium sorbate keeps a water-based bottle microbially sound once opened. Acacia gum and xanthan gum thicken the liquid so the vesicles cannot drift together, clump and settle out — the same reason a good emulsion is never thin. The small amount of ethyl alcohol is a solvent of the kind used to bring phospholipids into solution when vesicles are formed, and the beet root powder gives the liquid its colour.
The upshot for a buyer is flexibility: a liquid carries 450mg in one teaspoon where a softgel needs two, and you can take half a spoonful if that suits you better.
