Zinc can be found in dietary sources such as meat and shellfish, legumes and whole grains – however, it is less efficiently absorbed in plant-based sources.
Vitamin C is a known immune health booster, for good reason: it is a superb antioxidant that helps protect the body from the damaging effects of free radicals, and also encourages the production of white blood cells, a key part of the body’s defense against infection.
