NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) is a compound your body uses as a direct precursor to NAD+ — a coenzyme every cell relies on for energy metabolism. NAD+ levels naturally decline with age, and NMN supplements are taken to support the body’s own NAD+ production. You’ll find NMN here as capsules and powders, in doses from 150 mg to 600 mg, some paired with resveratrol or quercetin. It’s one of several NAD+ support supplements we carry.

    What NMN and NAD+ are

NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) is a compound your body uses as a direct precursor to NAD+ — nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, a coenzyme found in every cell and central to energy metabolism. NAD+ levels tend to decline as we age, and NMN supplements are taken to support the body's own production of it. NMN is one step away from NAD+ in the body's own pathway, which is part of why it draws interest.

    NMN vs. other NAD+ precursors

NMN isn't the only route to supporting NAD+. NR (nicotinamide riboside) is another precursor a step further back in the pathway, and NADH supplies a related form directly. They're different approaches to the same goal — you can compare the whole group on our NAD+ support page.

    Forms and doses

NMN comes as capsules and powders here, in doses from 150 mg to 600 mg. Capsules are the simplest once-a-day option; powders let you adjust the amount. Some formulas pair NMN with resveratrol or quercetin, ingredients often taken alongside it.

    A note on NMN

NMN is a newer supplement and the research is still emerging, so be skeptical of strong promises about what it will do. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medication, check with your healthcare provider before starting.
