    What's in moringa leaf

Moringa leaf is naturally rich in nutrients — it's a plant source of vitamin A and vitamin C, calcium, potassium and iron, along with antioxidant plant compounds like quercetin and chlorogenic acid. That nutrient density is why it's often called a green superfood and used as an everyday top-up rather than for any single benefit.

    Why people take moringa

Most people use moringa as a simple plant-based way to add greens and antioxidants to their day — especially if they don't eat many leafy vegetables. It contains no caffeine, so the “boost” people describe comes from its nutrient content, not a stimulant.

    Powder, capsules or extract?

    • Leaf powder — organic moringa powder blends into smoothies, juice or water; it has an earthy, grassy taste.
    • Capsules — a convenient, taste-free way to take whole moringa leaf, usually 500 mg to 1200 mg each.
    • Concentrated extracts — formats like a 4× concentrated extract pack more leaf into each capsule.

    Moringa and breastfeeding

Moringa leaf has a long traditional use as a galactagogue — a food used to help support breast-milk supply — and some products, like Organika Ma's Milk, pair it with fenugreek and blessed thistle for that purpose. If you're breastfeeding or pregnant, check with your healthcare provider before starting moringa.

    Moringa in Canada

Every moringa product here is stocked in Canada and ships from our Ontario warehouse. Moringa is also a natural source of iron and pairs well with other superfood greens.
