Why Do We Need Iron?
Floradix/Floravit is non-constipating for 2 main reasons:
The dose contains 10mg of elemental iron – a safe amount that can easily be all absorbed.
Pharmacy iron tablets often cause constipation because they contain far too much iron to be absorbed at once (for example 60mg elemental iron) and forms like ferrous sulphate are not absorbed as well as ferrous gluconate.
Take 1 (one) Salus Floradix Iron Tablets with B12 & Folic Acid tablet 3 times daily, before each meal.
