The Handbook | Nature’s Aid Skin Gel Uses

There is so many Nature’s Aid skin gel uses; we want you to benefit from them all.
Nature’s Aid skin gel’s unique and highly effective formula creates a single, multi-purpose product. But with so many different uses, there wasn’t enough room to list the directions for everything on the label. This handbook was created to give you an overview of how to use our gel and why it works.

Skin Irritations

The process is the same for all skin irritations: simply apply a thin layer of the gel over the affected area and rub it in gently; the gel will quickly be absorbed by your skin.
For soothing purposes, allow the gel to sit on your skin (do not rub it in) and apply it several times throughout the day.
Our formula contains anesthetic, anti-itching and anti-inflammatory properties which relieve itching and swelling and make it ideal for everything from rashes to eczema. Please note that if the irritation is raw or has any cracked or open skin, mild irritation or stinging is normal.

Cuts and Scrapes

Once the cut or scrape has been cleaned, apply a small amount of gel over the wound and reapply 2 to 3 times throughout the day, or more as required. If needed, bandage the cut but don’t forget to give it time to breathe as well. The gel will help protect against bacteria, reduce inflammation and help speed the healing process.

Scars

Applying Nature’s Aid skin gel to scars once or twice a day will release proteolytic enzyme action in the skin tissue and assist with the natural process of cell division. This will rejuvenate and rebuild healthy tissue at an accelerated rate.

Facial Care

  • Cleanser: rinse your face and apply a thin layer of gel over your entire face, gently massaging it in. Wipe away with a warm damp cloth.
  • Toner: to use as a toner, apply a pea-sized amount of gel to a cotton pad and wipe in one direction over a cleansed face.
  • Spot treatment: after cleansing, apply a pea-sized amount of gel to any spot or trouble area and let it absorb into the skin naturally.
  • The leaves and bark from the witch hazel plant are high in tannins, an astringent, which can dry and tighten skin tissue, tighten pores and remove excess oil making Nature’s Aid an effective skin care product.

Facial Moisturizer

Simply apply gel as you would any other moisturizer, morning and evening. Our formula will not clog pores and will reduce the look of brown spots and fine lines.

Sunburn

To soothe skin and reduce inflammation apply gel generously to the affected area(s) several times a day.

The Nature’s Aid formula will stimulate the natural process of cell division to rebuild healthy tissue and has astringent and surface numbing properties to remove the irritation from the burn. The Vitamin E in our gel plays a vital role in protecting skin cells from ultra violet rays that produce cell-damaging free radicals.

After Sun Hydration

Any amount of sun exposure can be damaging to your skin. Apply Nature’s Aid skin gel to hydrate and rejuvenate the skin as well as slow down cell damage caused by UV rays.

Shaving Gel

To use as an alternative to shaving cream, apply a thin layer as you would any other shaving product. The gentle formula won’t irritate your skin and the tea tree oil in the gel will work to prevent and remove ingrown hairs.

After Shaving

Men and women can apply the gel to their skin immediately after shaving to reduce red spots and irritation, leave the area feeling smoother, as well as rehydrate the skin.

After Waxing

To quickly reduce redness and bumps, apply a thin layer to the waxed area, gently rubbing it in while the skin absorbs the gel. The tea tree oil in the gel will work to prevent and remove ingrown hairs.

Dry, Scaly Scalp

To reduce flakes and keep your scalp healthy, apply a dime-sized amount of Nature’s Aid directly to your scalp after towel-drying, massaging it in. There is no need to rinse!
Rosemary is one of our five core ingredients and it has been shown to stimulate scalp and hair growth, slow or reverse the effects of alopecia (premature hair loss), thicken thinning hair and nourish the scalp.

Aches and Pains

Whether from a sport injury or general muscle fatigue, massage Nature’s Aid into the affected area 1-2 times daily.
Nature’s Aid skin gel stimulates blood circulation which helps relieve sore muscles while penetrating the lower layers of the skin with anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain killing) qualities.

Insect Bites

To get the itch or sting out of insect bites, apply a pea-sized amount of gel to the affected area several times a day or as needed.
With astringent and surface numbing properties, Nature’s Aid will pull the irritation out of insect bites, while offering soothing and anti-inflammatory benefits.

Skin Infections

With anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, Nature’s Aid works well to treat a variety of skin infections. Apply the gel to the affected area several times a day, rubbing it into the skin. Depending on the type and severity of the infection, the amount and frequency of application may vary. For minor occurrences, 1-2 times a day should be sufficient whereas for more severe infections, 3-4 applications may be needed daily.

Just as everyone’s skin is different, so is every infection and therefore not everyone will respond to Nature’s Aid in the same manner. If a skin infection persists or gets worse, see a physician right away.

Baby

Nature’s Aid is gentle enough for baby; from head to toe. For cradle cap, diaper rash and as an after-bath moisturizer, apply a small amount of gel to the area and gently massage into the skin.
As Nature’s Aid is naturally acidic, it is not recommended for more serious cases as it can sting when applied. This is okay for older children and adults but babies will not be impressed.

Extra Moisture

Although aloe vera is a great moisturizer, Nature’s Aid is a water-based product and as such, is a light moisturizer. For those with extra dry skin, mix ¼ part oil with ¾ part skin gel. Almond oil has a great smell but even olive oil from the kitchen will offer great results.
