Clove bud essential oil is used in aromatherapy for its analgesic properties to temporarily relieve toothache.

Can be beneficial to the digestive system, effective against vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence, spasms and parasites, as well as bad breath. Clove oil is valuable for relieving respiratory problems like bronchitis and asthma. The disinfecting properties are useful in cases of infectious diseases.

HISTORY

The clove tree, found in Indonesia, is prolific and can grow up to 20 meters. Discovered by the Dutch in the Molucca Islands, aka The Spice Islands, the tree grows abundantly along the tropical sea coasts. Today, it is mostly grown in Madagascar. Its value recognized centuries ago, clove bud is used in traditional Indian and Chinese medicine.

Topical (Adults) Mix 2 to 3 drops in 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) of vegetable oil. Apply to tooth with a cotton swab, 3 times a day.
