Naka Platinum Immune Strength Details

Naka Platinum Immune Strength is a three-ingredient immune formula built on quercetin, vitamin C and zinc, with 300mg of quercetin anhydrous, 250mg of vitamin C as ascorbic acid and 25mg of zinc as zinc bisglycinate in each capsule. The label serving is two capsules once a day, so a full daily dose is 600mg of quercetin, 500mg of vitamin C and 50mg of zinc. The bottle holds 90 vegetable capsules, which is 45 days at that serving.

Naka describes it as specially formulated to help boost immune function. The label's other claims: it assists in the development and maintenance of bones, cartilage, teeth and gums and in connective tissue formation, helps maintain healthy bones, hair, nails and skin, maintains the body's ability to metabolise nutrients, and is a source of antioxidants that helps protect cells against free radicals. The quercetin is used in herbal medicine as a capillary and blood vessel protectant. Made in Canada.

Who Immune Strength Is For

  • Anyone who was going to buy quercetin, vitamin C and zinc separately and would rather hold one bottle
  • People who want quercetin at a meaningful amount — 600mg a day is not a token sprinkle
  • Buyers who take an immune stack seasonally rather than year-round, where a 45-day bottle fits the use
  • Anyone who wants the zinc as a bisglycinate chelate rather than a plain mineral salt
  • People interested in the connective tissue side too — bones, cartilage, gums, hair, nails and skin all appear on this label

Who this product is NOT for: This is not a formula to stack on top of another zinc. Two capsules deliver 50mg of zinc, the same as a full-strength standalone, so if you already take Naka Platinum Extra Strength Zinc 50mg you are doubling up. If vitamin C is your priority, 500mg a day is modest and Naka Platinum Pro C1000 gives twice that in one capsule. And if you want a daily year-round zinc rather than a seasonal blend, Naka Platinum Extra Strength Zinc 25 is built for that.

Vitamart's Take

Combination immune formulas usually disappoint because the maker puts a famous ingredient on the front of the bottle and 20mg of it inside. This one does not. Six hundred milligrams of quercetin and 50mg of zinc at the label serving are both amounts you would buy deliberately, and the 500mg of vitamin C is a sensible supporting dose rather than the headline.

The trade-off is the one every blend carries: you lose dose control. You cannot keep the quercetin and halve the zinc, and 50mg of zinc a day is a full-strength dose most people do not want running in the background all year. That makes this a seasonal product in our view rather than a permanent fixture — which the 45-day bottle suits. If you want all three at your own ratios, buy them separately.

How Immune Strength Compares

The question with any immune blend is whether each ingredient is present at an amount you would have bought on its own.

How Quercetin, Zinc and Vitamin C Fit Together Here

Each of the three carries a different claim on this label, which is the clearest way to understand why they share a capsule. Quercetin is a plant flavonoid — the yellow pigment class found in onion skins, apples and capers — and Naka's claim for it is the traditional one: used in herbal medicine as a capillary and blood vessel protectant. Vitamin C, as ascorbic acid, is the nutrient humans cannot make for themselves, and it carries the structural claims here: connective tissue formation, and the development and maintenance of bones, cartilage, teeth and gums. It is also where the antioxidant claim sits — a source of antioxidants that helps protect cells against free radicals.

Zinc is the third leg and the one tied most directly to the product's name. It is a cofactor in hundreds of human enzymes, the body stores very little of it, and it is what Naka leans on for helping with immune function alongside maintaining healthy bones, hair, nails and skin — supplied here as zinc bisglycinate. Read the formula that way and it is not a mystery blend but one flavonoid, one vitamin and one mineral, each at a dose that stands on its own.

How To Use

Adults: 2 capsules 1 time per day. Take with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products.

Frequently Asked Questions

➕ Are the amounts per capsule or per serving?
The panel lists per capsule: 300mg quercetin, 250mg vitamin C and 25mg zinc. The label serving is two capsules, so a day's intake is double each of those figures.
➕ Can I take one capsule instead of two?
One capsule gives 300mg quercetin, 250mg vitamin C and 25mg zinc, which is a reasonable half dose, though the label serving is two. The zinc is the figure to watch if you take other supplements.
➕ How long does the bottle last?
90 capsules at the label serving of two a day is 45 days. At one a day it stretches to three months.
➕ What form is the zinc?
Zinc bisglycinate — the same chelated form Naka uses in its standalone bisglycinate zinc products, rather than a plain mineral salt.
➕ Why take it with food?
That is Naka's direction here, and the label also asks you to space it a few hours from other medications or natural health products.
➕ Is 500mg of vitamin C a high dose?
No — it is a supporting amount rather than the headline. Single-ingredient vitamin C products commonly run 1000mg or more per capsule.
