The extract uses both mycelium and fruiting body, which is worth noticing. Many mushroom products use mycelium grown on grain, and the finished powder carries a good deal of the grain with it. Using both parts of a wild-harvested chaga is a different proposition entirely.
Chaga contains antioxidants, polysaccharides, polyphenols, triterpenes including betulinic acid, minerals, and vitamins B2 and D2, among many other nutrients.
