What Is Natural Eggshell Membrane?

Peel the shell off a boiled egg and you will find a thin, tough, slightly translucent film clinging to the inside. That film is the eggshell membrane: a woven connective-tissue layer the bird builds to anchor the mineral shell to the contents.
