Why It Works

➕ How does chamomile support sleep?
Chamomile's apigenin binds to the same brain receptors that calming medicines target, which is thought to explain its traditional use as a mild sleep aid.
➕ Why pure chamomile?
Each bag is a full 1,000mg of chamomile flowers with nothing added, which gives a clean, apple-like flavour and a full dose of the flower.
➕ How does chamomile help?
Chamomile flowers contain apigenin and other flavonoids with a traditional calming effect, and the same flowers soothe an irritated digestive tract.

This tea is sold here in cases of 6 boxes, 120 tea bags in all, which works out to about $8.99 a box.
➕ How long does a case last?
At 3 cups a day, the 120 bags last about 40 days.
➕ Can children drink it?

Benefits of Ingredients

➕ Is chamomile a sleeping pill?
No. It is a mild herbal calmative, so it helps you relax and drift off rather than forcing sleep.
➕ Can it help a nervous stomach?
Yes. Chamomile is also used for digestive discomfort, especially when stress affects the stomach.
➕ Does chamomile have caffeine?
No. Chamomile is a flower, not a tea leaf, so it is naturally caffeine-free.

Usage and Storage

➕ Can I drink it iced?
Yes. Steep a bag in half a cup of boiling water for the full time, then pour it over ice.
➕ Can I sweeten it?
Yes. A little honey or a squeeze of lemon does not affect the herbs.
➕ How should I store it?
Keep the boxes closed in a cool, dry place, away from humidity and strong odours.
