      For dry skin often yes. A cream is oil, water and an emulsifier; an oil skips the water and the emulsifier and goes straight to the occlusive part.

      It is high in punicic acid, an unusual fatty acid, and it is one of the reasons this formula costs what it does.

      On slightly damp skin, so there is water underneath for the oil to seal in. Straight after cleansing is ideal.
