Ester-C

What is Ester-C?

Ester-C is a patented, non-acidic form of vitamin C. Instead of plain ascorbic acid, it's made mainly from calcium ascorbate along with small amounts of vitamin C metabolites, which are thought to help move vitamin C into cells. Because it's pH-neutral (buffered), Ester-C is gentler on the stomach than regular ascorbic acid, so it's often chosen by people with sensitive digestion. It delivers the same vitamin C the body uses for immune and antioxidant support and collagen formation.

Ester-C vs regular vitamin C

The main difference is acidity. Regular vitamin C is ascorbic acid, which is acidic and can bother sensitive stomachs at higher doses. Ester-C is pH-neutral and non-acidic, so it's easier on digestion, and it includes metabolites not found in plain ascorbic acid.
