Progressive Prenatal Vitamins are designed to support the unique nutritional needs of women during all stages of childbirth, from conception through to the completion of nursing.
In a perfect world, a well-balanced diet would be enough to satisfy the nutritional needs of a woman as she prepares for childbirth. Unfortunately, our contemporary diet is anything but perfect. Our modern cooking methods erode the nutritional value of our foods, much of our diet is refined and overly processed and the mineral content of our farmlands is on the decline which reduces the contribution of even the healthiest foods. We also live in a fast-paced world and are exposed to elevated levels of pollutants and contaminants. This further increases our need for antioxidants and protective phytochemicals. When you add in the demands of a developing baby or nursing child, you begin to realize the huge nutritional hurdles that new mothers face.

Q: Why are there fewer supporting ingredients in the formulas?
A: The new supporting blends include key ingredients at a more significant
dosage levels that are tailored to their respective demographics. In order
to make room for higher levels of those key ingredients, a reduction in the
total number of ingredients necessary in order to keep the capsule
size and dosage the same.
Q: Which formulas are getting new Health Canada-approved claims?
A: Adult Women, Women’s 50+, Men’s 50+, Active Women & Prenatal
Q: Has the dosage changed?
A: There has been no change to the dosage of any of the products.
Q: Are the Adult & Kids Chewable SKUs being reformulated as well?
A: At this time there are no changes being made to the Progressive chewable
formulas.
