A blend of liver cleansing and liver regnerating herbs, Omega Alpha Liver Flush is an active liquid blend for optimum liver health. Liver Flush contains milk thistle plus the bitter herbs dandelion and burdock to optimize liver secretions, especially for those with compromised digestive systems. Liver flush also contains a blend of other chinese herbs to support liver vitality.

Ingredients and their benefits:

Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum)

Cleanses the liver. Its primary active ingredient silymarin is a potent anti-oxidant especially effective in the liver.

Polygonum multiflorum (Ho Shou Wu/Fo Ti)

This herb has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to "tonify" and to replenish the "vital energy" to the liver. Studies have shown this herb can increase blood flow to the liver, which increases the rate of toxin drainage from the liver.

Burdock

This herb has traditionally been used as a blood cleanser and a purifier for the liver. It is a very good source of inulin, which stimulates the immune system.

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)

Increases bile production and flow, and improves the efficiency of a liver detox since bile is produced as a result of liver function. Studies have shown this herb also exhibits a protective effect on the liver and is able to reverse mild cases of liver cirrhosis.

Chinese Wormwood (Artemisia capillaries)

Increases secretion of bile into the gastrointestinal tract thus aiding the liver in draining its waste products. This herb in combination with Gardenia jasminoidis has been shown to increase the rate of liver cell regeneration.

Fructus lycii chinensis

Acts to protect liver cells and hence liver function. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this herb has been used to treat liver ailments.

Gardenia jasminoidis

In combination with Chinese wormwood, this herb increases liver cell regeneration. This herb has also been shown to increase bile secretion.

Curcuma zedoria & Hypericum japonicum

Anti-oxidants which specifically target the liver.

Recommended Uses

Take one to two tablespoons of Omega Alpha Liver Flush per day or as directed by your health care practitioner. Shake well before use. Refrigerate after opening.
