Coconut oil is about 50 percent lauric acid, a rare medium-chain fatty acid found in mother's milk that supports healthy metabolism and is now being studied for its anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-bacterial, health-protecting properties. Overall, coconut oil contains 92% saturated fats, and only 1% Omega-6.

    I cook with it, use it in salads and baking. It is excellent whether it is solid or liquid, it doesn't matter.

    It doesn't have to be refrigerated either. It is good for frying foods in also. It was much cheaper than buying it at the grocery store.

    Just coconut oil as it should be

    The oil melts at just over room temperature and is great to line a pan for eggs or put into a high speed blender with a shake. It adds a light clean coconut flavour to everything, and gives a soft texture to anything its added to.
