Basmati means the “prince of fragrance” or “the perfumed one” due to its unique aroma and delicately nutty taste.

Cooking Directions: Bring to a boil 1 1/2 part of water for 1 part Inari Organic Brown Basmati Rice. Add sprinkle of salt and 1 tsp of oil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Add your favourite seasonings.

    The best brown rice I've eaten

    I don't often write reviews, but felt this one was worth sharing. This brown basmati rice is light, fragrant, and delicious - the best brown rice I've had. I boil it with water and a little salt (no fat). It keeps well in the fridge if not all eaten at once. It isn't sticky. I plan to try it in a heathly rice pudding and I will definitely buy more.
