    Gentle but effective

    I have a dry scalp complicated by occasional flares of psoriasis, always worse in the winter. Having white hair and curls, I was looking for a product that wouldn't stain my hair and was gentle enough to not harm my hair while treating my scalp. This product, along with its conditioner, have been effective and also gentle. It has a nice tingle but unlike another product I've used, it doesn't irritate or redden my scalp along with the tingle. The ingredients are within "curly girl" restrictions for gentle care. I recommend it.

    Not what I'd hoped. Back to square one.

    I have seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp, and have been using honey to clean my hair as even sulfate-free shampoos cause my scalp to welt up, have painful sores, crust, scab, and peel. Using the honey has eradicated all symptoms except some scalp peeling, although it is messy and time consuming. I thought that a shampoo both sulfate and lauryl free would be the more convenient answer. Unfortunately, with each wash with this shampoo, my scalp health has deteriorated and now after 3 weeks of use every-other-day, the welts, crusting, painful sores, and huge flakes and peels are back. I will have to stop it's use immediately and go back to honey. It will take at least a month for my scalp to recover. Honey is inconvenient and messy, but it takes away the sores and pain.

    Wonderful product for itchy scalp and dandruff !

    Relieved itchy scalp faitrly quickly (2-3 times of use). The whole family is using this product (it's even gentle enough on the 3year old)
