BioFe™ Highlights
What makes BioFe™ better than other irons? Many iron supplements irritate the digestive system causing constipation, diarrhea, black stools, nausea, and cramping. You don’t have to worry about these side effects with BioFe™ because the iron used in it is micronized and then microencapsulated a protective coating to optimize absorption.
What is Micronized?
Micronizing is a process that grinds the iron into a fine powder to make it completely dispersible in liquids and absorbable in the intestinal tract. Micronizing makes the iron highly absorbable thereby raising hemoglobin and ferritin levels quickly.
What is Microencapsulation?
The iron in BioFe™ is microencapsulated in a protective coating. The coating is a spherical fat molecule. The coating ensures you will not have the common side effects of iron supplements, like constipation, black stools, tummy upset, and grey teeth. Microencapsulating the iron increases the absorption by allowing the iron to travel intact, past the stomach, into the small intestine where iron is readily absorbed. Microencapsulation allows BioFe™ Iron to be taken at the same time as foods and nutrients that contain iron-inhibiting ingredients like calcium. Iron is not the best-tasting ingredient and microencapsulation ensures BioFe™ tastes great. BioFe™ Iron is available in unflavoured liquid drops, and a tiny chewable tablet. Like all KidStar™ nutrients our iron supplements are pure and do not contain sugar, artificial colours,
artificial sweeteners, artificial flavours, soy, gluten, benzoates and GMOs.
