Science Behind GERANIUM 20™

Research Background on 1,3-Dimethylamylamine

Before ever being used in dietary supplements, geranium (or 1,3-Dimethylamylamine) was used as a nasal decongestant. Pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly filed for a patent on the use of 1,3-Dimethylamylamine as a nasal decongestant, and explained that the negative stimulant effects on the central nervous system were less than that of other nasal decongestant compounds, such as ephedrine and amphetamines.

More recently, supplement guru and chemist Patrick Arnold, re-discovered the 1,3-Dimethylamylamine molecule and found that it had incredibly euphoric stimulant effect, but without the negative side effects that are commonly associated with the use of other stimulants, such as ephedrine.

The Need for Pure, Pharmaceutical-Grade 1,3-Dimethylamylamine

The 1,3-Dimethylamylamine molecule is so small and has such broad solubility that it easily crosses the blood-brain barrier.
