Answers to Frequently Asked Natural Protein and Organic Protein Questions
Q1: What is natural protein and organic protein made up of, and how does it differ from other proteins?
A1: Natural protein and organic protein powder is made of the same ingredients that other protein powders are made up of, with a couple of major differences.
- The animals and plants that natural protein powders are made up of are not treated with pesticides, hormones, or chemicals. In other words, organic protein is made from organic plants and animals. Natural protein is good for you in the same way that natural food is good for you.
- Natural protein and organic protein powders typically don't contain artificial sweeteners or flavours. Instead, they often use plant-based natural sweeteners such as stevia or cane juice.
Q2: What are the advantages and disadvantages of natural protein and organic protein?
A2: Whether or not you choose to use organic protein will depend upon your needs and priorities. There are advantages and disadvantages to using natural protein or organic protein.
Advantages of natural protein or organic protein powder include:
- Organic protein is processed from plants and animals that aren't exposed to pesticides, chemicals, or hormones.
- Natural protein is healthier than other highly processed protein.
Disadvantages of natural protein or organic protein powders include:
- Organic protein is more expensive than non-natural protein.
- Natural protein can be more difficult to find.
- The taste of natural or organic protein may not be as vibrant, depending upon the sweeteners or flavourings used.
Q3: I want to buy organic whey protein. Why can't I find it?
A3: In a nutshell, this has to do with the cost. Currently there is not much manufactured and what currently is, is extremely expensive. Much more expensive than what a consumer would pay. Over time however as its demand becomes greater the cost will come down to an affordable level that it makes sense for the manufacturers to produce. As an alternative currently in our opinion the best protein on the market is New Zealand protein.
New Zealand protein is the purest, cleanest, and most natural protein found in the world due to New Zealand farming practices. Cows in New Zealand are range and grass fed on a geographically isolate island, and aren't exposed to hormones or antibiotics.
